How we assess venues
Our venue assessments focus on the factors that determine real-world reception quality: honest capacity figures (dinner-and-dancing format, not fire-code maximums), A/V infrastructure, catering flexibility, operational usability, and location logistics. We do not rank on aesthetics alone or weight Instagram appeal over functional suitability.

This site covers Portland proper and close-in surrounding areas. Venues more than approximately 30 minutes from central Portland are noted as such, since travel distance is a real consideration for guests and vendors.
